I hear there isn't much to eat on the islands... unless you like fish...

Does anyone know what's missing that they really would like?

Seems to me prices are still hiked up there, still being advertised as the new Caribbean, but lets face it, in the Caribbean you can get any food you want!

If developers still want Cape Verde to take off, you need to realise that people won't come to buy property, live there or holiday there unless you drop your prices and get the everyday things everyone expects.

Once you have done this, that is the time to start hiking the prices, not before.
